I considered a few options for my rhyming pairs, crop top was my initial first choice, but upon critique I received more positive reception for snail mail and bedhead. I uses photoshop to create this composition. My first draft of my idea, is rather cartoonish and illustrative, but I don’t think the bed idea was coming to mind. I restarted with different images. I considered how the light would actually look. I found with image making that using painting tools to create shadows and highlights is just as important for bending two images. I decided to make the effect for subtle, using pleats and folds in the comforter to make out the details of the face.
